Puttin' on the Palace!

At the moment I'm just killing time at work until something exciting happens. Tomorrow night I'm going to bring my putter and me and my colleague Henrik are going play some minigolf in the lobby. Maybe we will even invite some guests to join us and have a little tournament. We could call it: Palace Open! We'll just have to turn of the video cameras while we are playing so our chef will not find out ;).

My view at this moment. Except for the table in the middle of the lobby which has obviously been put there only for the photo. The 18th hole in the Palace Open tournament will be to the right of the stairs.

Coffee is the stuff!

I heard today that Coffee is maybe not as unhealthy as once thought. It was on the news!!! Of course you should not believe everything you hear but I will believe it untill someone tells me otherwise. So I have spent the day celebrating this by going to cafés and drinking a lot of this brown mud like substance. That is also the reason that I'm sitting here at home in the middle of the night writing this...but not to worry, I think I will be able to go to sleep...sometime early next week maybe.

Do re mi fa so la ti to

Nothing much happening these days....I'm so bored!
I managed to drag my self to choir practise last wednesday which is about all I have done this week. The choir is going to Gothembourg, Sweden next month. There are going to be choirs from Gothembourg, Lund, Copenhagen, Oslo, London and Luxembourg; singing seperately and together. It will surely by great fun as usual, especially when the singing is done and the partying begins :).

"Something rotten in the state of Denmark"

Well, now I have managed to get sick for the third time in just over a month! Actually I'm just getting better now so back to work tomorrow night. Today it also startet snowing like hell, and it will snow for at least two days...maybe I'll even get homesick ;).
At a big "party" last weekend, me and a friend witnessed a man hit a woman in the face (scary stuff) and had to give a statement to the police. We will probably have to show up in court sometime in the next couple of weeks. It will be the first time for me and hopefully it will also be for the last time!
Not an ideal start of the new year. I just hope that it is a sign that the rest of the year is going to be great. :)

Going South!

Now I'm started to plan my next big trip. The plan, as it looks to day, is to fly to Quito, Ecuador (with maybe a quick stop in Cuba) in October/November 2005 stay there and learn spanish for 2 or 3 months, and then fly to Santiago de Chile. After som R&R in Santiago I'll head even further south into Patagonia and Torres del Paine National Park. From there I will slowly make my way through Argentine, Uruguay and end up in Rio de Janeiro just in time for the carnival. After travelling around in Brasil and maybe Paraguay I'll head back home. The plan is that the whole trip will take 6 months or at as least as long as the money lasts. Any travel advice, questions or comments are more than welcome.

A rough travel plan: Ecuador-Chile-Argentina-Uruguay-Brasil.
